Another baby!

We had a surprise yesterday morning. We thought we had another couple of weeks and when I went to check on the other 2 babies I heard another one crying. Sure enough our lamancha who was a FF had her baby. We had bred her to our boer hoping to get "ears" Instead we got a lamancha with the boer colorings. Very very cute. LOL We've just had a time with the earwax in our lamancha's. She had a little billy and we've got to decide weather or not to whether him. Either way he will be leaving our home. Mama's milk did not come in until late last night so I had to bottle feed him the colostrum replacer until her's started. He's doing great tonight. Nursing and getting around well.

I do have a question about his poo. Yesterday afternoon he had a very dark bowl movement that was soft but not runny. Tonight when I went down there he had a very hard blondish poo on his but. I don't know if this is normal or not.

From what I read on the Fias site the poop you describe is normal...

Yes the poo is normal; if it gets too hard, you can give him some karo syrup, I had a kid who had very very hard poo and I gave him some of that and it softened up.

Yeah that poo is normal... and boy I see what you mean, except for the sex yours and mine could be the same kid. haha. Glad it all went well.
