Our first babies!!

One of our does finally kidded this morning. 2 beautiful doelings. We have 2 more does that are due in the next couple of weeks. I think we have our jitters out for the moment. Flower did great, this is her 2nd year having babies. They look just like their daddy. LOL He's a white and brown boar, but I can't believe that they didn't get any of momma's color. Oh well, I think they are cute no matter what. Here are some pics!!

Thanks so much for the compliments everyone. They are both doelings. Momma is part Alpine but we're not sure what she's crossed with. We bought her from our neighbor who was overrun with animals. I'm getting ready to head to the barn to check in on everyone. This is our first year with goats and our first ever babies and I never thought I'd get this tore up over them.

LOL it sure is easy to get 'tore up' over the babies. They just attach themselves to your heart like cuddly little teady bears. My friend says they're just like little stuffed animals you want to take to bed with you, only better cause they jump around and nuzzle you. Your babies are adorable, congrats on a successful first kidding.
