what kind? plastic or metal?

Plastic ones you can get a tag knife for cheap, and the metal ones bend apart at the place they are in the ear, use pliers and a good restraint... probably need an assistant or two

you can use any regular sharp knife, or side cutters, we have cut lots of tags out, mainly the cattle though!

Good Luck!

One of ours came with a plastic tag. We just pushed on the back so the front had some space between the ear and the tag, then I cut the stem with a pair of regular scissors.
