Doe kidded, no milk, help!

It's a doe I used to own, she kidded a bit early and had twins. She has no milk at all. I suggested the whole milk recipe, we can't find any colostrum.
My main question is, would oxytocin bring her milk in at this point?

Feed stores often have that colostrum gel in a tube - can you get any of that?

Fresh or frozen colostrum is best. Store stuff is useless.
And for milk...cows milk from the store or a cow! More kids are lost on replacer and I havent heard of any lost on cows milk!!!

Try working her teats to stimulate production. Colostrum is needed within 12 hours!

Get them colustrum of some sort. Either from the store, or another specie. I widh I could give you some of ours! Maybe your vet or county extension agent can give you the names of other people with goats or sheep you could call to see if they have any. Keep trying, hope they are ok.

Try duhgoatman site, here is half the Ohio list, there is also a list of farms without web-sites. just keep calling folks. someone will know someone.

Yes, he did get some of that but in powder form, and tubed the doeling, and bottle-fed the buckling. The buckling is doing good, the doeling is starting to come around, they are both very small and look a bit early.
My vet as well as several other goat breeders did say that oxytocin would help bring in milk IF she already has some udder developement - which she does. He's going to take the kids to the doe several times a day to let them help to further stimulate the doe into milk. I know this doe will take her babies back if they'll be able to nurse on their own.

I will never, ever use that type of milk replacer again. I've never had a bit of luck with it when I raised orphan deer, and most people on here don't have much good to say about it either. I really like the milk recipe using whole cow's milk, evaporated milk, and whole buttermilk. The NutriDrench or Power Punch is good to add a squirt or two to each feeding.
