In that link it said "Note: If you use home-produced milk, either from a cow or goat, it must be pasteurized before preparing yogurt or any other milk product."

That isn't true. You can make raw milk yogurt.

Well last night is bought 8 oz of plain non fat yogurt from the store. Saved one tablespoon and put it in an 8 oz glass jar. Filled the jar with fresh raw goat milk and set it in the oven (gas oven with pilot light) over night. In the morning wonderful, thick, creamy, mild goat yogurt!
