I feed the Hi-Boot loose salt, because of the extra copper. I haven't seen those mineral blocks. Are they actual "mineral" blocks or are they salt licks with some minerals added? I think most blocks are a bit hard for the goats to get enough from them. Along with the salt, I've been feeding a mineral mix from Bio-Ag, made specifically for goats, along with kelp meal and DE. I've noticed that my goats are looking a whole lot better. Not sure where you are, but they have a rep in VanKleek Hill and another one that does Kingston and Kemptville. www.bio-ag.com

As for the Rumensin - I'm not sure, but I would tend to avoid it. If I remember correctly , it's one of those things that is really bad for horses. Don't know about goats. Were you wanting it for kids? Shurgain now produces a 20% kid starter, so you might want to see if you can find that.
