About ten minutes after I got out there, we had (in rapid order) goo, nose and front feet, first doeling, second doeling. Took about ten minutes for all that, too, and about ten minutes till they were standing. WHEW!
I came back to the house for the camera.
Waiting on afterbirth.

I was sure hoping for some evidence of Sinbad's color, but here's what we've got! They are beautiful, but not tawny like Sinbad.
This is Louise.

This is Edna with her mom.

They are named after the two neighboring towns.
Here's a history tidbit:
History in a Pecan Shell
Named after a daughter of Colonel Hungerford, Railroad V.P., Louise dates to 1881, the date the railroad came through. Hungerford had been a barber in New York City and passed through Texas en route to Mexico during the Mexican War. His beautiful daughters married well. Louise married a Mining Engineer who struck it rich in Nevada, and Edna married a European Count named Telferner. Together they formed a railroad company: The New York, Texas and Mexican Railroad. Construction began from both Rosenburg and Victoria. This explains the town names for Edna, Louise, Hungerford, Telferner and Mackay (Louise's Husband's name).

Those little girls are gorgeous. There oughta be a law against such cuteness! Congratulations, and I'm glad all went well.

What beautiful kids!! Its funny that you didn't get a cream colored one since she had cream colored kids the last two times, both bred to Sinbad. Congrats!!
