* A Blizzard! *

yes, not exactly goat related, but tommorrow I can post pics of snowy goats.

Its been snowing since last night, so far we've gotten 10 inches and big drifts. South of us has 14-16 inches. More is expected, untill tommorrow morning. They've closed the HIGHWAY, because of the ice under the snow and then just the sheer amount of snow plus drifts. Also, about a half hour south, they are rescuing people out of their cars and bringing them to shelters. Wild! I feel bad for those people, though.

ALL schools are closed, of course.

Not as bad as, say, Canada or Alaska type storms, but pretty darn bad.

Here's something goat related; I had to dig the goat door out of a drift to close it.

*****SNOW!!!*****

Well, I would take all that snow instead of all the flooding we are getting right now in the Findlay Area here in Ohio. There is flooding from Toledo to Port Clinton/Cleveland area all the way south to almost Dayton. It's crazy.

That would be us. The roads were horrible. It drifted quite a bit overnight too, but everything was pretty clear by this morning. The goat barn blew full of snow last night...more wet bedding when it warms up. What I wouldn't give for an airtight barn.
