*UPDATE* sick bottle baby (pic heavy, of course!)

hi ya'll
wanted to thank you again for all your help with my "sick bottle baby"

previous post: bottle baby - sick? advice needed.

she is doing GREAT. we have so much fun getting out and playing together still have my fingers crossed on getting a nubian doeling to go along with her, but she has a new friend, our future herd sire... "spots of sandale comanche". i think we'll call him Chief.

thanks everybody
i'm proud of my babies. Rosie really surprised me... she HAS to be the most playful goat i've ever seen. a big turn around from the almost lifeless 4# runt i had at first.
thanks again for your help. and for your nice comments

In this house it goes more like this

"I want one of those"
"You don't need that"
"I know"
I find one, go get it. He goes "NOOOOOOOOOOO!"The next day he is petting it and checking on it as often as I do.

"Its crying, you better check on it"
"its fine, Just looking for attention"
"No I don't think so"
"Walk in the barn, It'll shut right up"
And off he goes

He was like that with the potbelly pig my daughter got. I mentioned getting rid of it and getting more goats. He wouldn't allow it. He likes his little fat boy. If he is working in his garage in the weekends, the pig is with him. They even eat breakfast together in the warmer weather on Sundays(in his garage :baby04:
