she is a Nigerian Dwarf. I don't think I can wait a couple more weeks. of course that would most likly be right since every one will be gone. then just me and mom here and my first goat babies.

I have a ND that has looked like that for the past 2 months, bag and all.
Her ligs have been real mushy but not 100% gone for the last 2 weeks.

Heck, they go when they go.

Well she starting to bag up so I would watch her and watch her ligments also. Here is the date I got if she was bred on July 26 07 .... She would had babies in Dec.. I think your buck bred her again at a later date and it finally took so that would make the date for her to have babies later than what you thought.

On her bagging up sometimes they drop their babies within a few days sometimes it can be a few weeks or more. It just depends on the goat.

When I had some does here I had one to bag up one day an the next day had her babies an then I had a few does that didn't bag up until ready to drop the babies the same day. Also had one doe bagged up for 3 weeks before dropping her babies. What you need to keep watch on is the ligments then you will know if shes getting ready to drop the babies. Then again she may drop her babies fast. Why said that I had a doe that I watched her ligments for a week an never seen them get gone.

If she was bred in July she would had dropped her babies close the end of Dec. So she must had been bred at a different date.

Good Luck with her.

If bred on July 26 she would have been due Dec 22 so if he bred her 21 days later her due date would be Jan 12 so she has missed that one too. 21 more days later and her due date would be Feb 2. Now that due date sounds more accurate. But if she misses that one she could be due Feb 23, Of course these are just guesses but I would learn how if you dont know how to keep a check on ligaments. With all of my goats 12 hours before kidding my does udder with double in size all of a sudden, around the tail bone get mushy and sure enough aprox 12 hours later birthing will begin. So for me I watch udders and ligaments.
