Help me keep my sanity

Brandy my doe is due any day now (Well her due date is the 30th but she could easily have gone by the 25th as that is day 145). She is messing with me! She still has her ligs but her belly dropped 2-3 days ago. *sigh* I swear she is going to be the death of me!

I keep thinking "Maybe today....maybe she will go today" . I need a hand to hold . LOL.....it is just so frustrating as she is the first doe due and I am aching to hold them little babies! . I think I need goat therapy....

Justine (Maybe if yall start sending kidding vibes my way she will go?)

Sending kidding vibes your way. I know exactly what you're going through! It does make you doubt your sanity. Hang in there.

OK, maybe this will help. Princess (LaMancha) is due on Feb 10.

Daughter in Law's last scheduled ultrasound is Feb 7, and she's due any time between the 15th and the 22nd.

Son and DIL are in Austin, 3 hours away. I am the only one here with small hands if Princess has trouble.

We're having a family email hooha about which grandmother gets to go to this ultrasound. Sigh.

My stomach hurts.

Help me keep my sanity? HELP ME KEEP MY SANITY? Hon, you own goats. Sanity went out the window long ago! Although I do call my goats my "outpatient therapy".

I will take that a step further in that I believe we were crazy to begin with but now have scapegoats.

One of mine waited me out. She was the last to kid. Went to town & back for a total of one hour...she must have bgun pushing the minute she heard the truck start!!

Hmm. This is the first summer I did not write on the calendar when everyone "went on a date." So far, Rose had Northern Star yesterday, the clue was suddenly a huge udder and she was "talking" to me. Patches had been on "baby watch" for a week, but as soon as Rose had her girl, Patches had twins. This was with 0° weather up here in Michigan. Moms are in 5 x 5 bedrooms, with a 250 watt brooder light above them, nothing fancy. All babies are fine. I used to chart it all out and spaz when they didn't kid when I thought they should. Lizi

Well we have some white mucus and she is getting mushy in the back. I am guessing (more like praying and hoping) that when she goes she goes fast. She started having white mucus last night so I am HOPING that means tonight she will kid.
