healthy navel in newborns

I have two kids born last Monday--5 days old. I never got the navels dipped due to the confusion of the birth.....but the navels seemed fine the next day when I finally remembered about them.

Now, the girl's is fine--all black and dried up looking and the boys looks about the same. But he does have what looks like a little black blister near the navel. It's not touching it, but maybe a centemeter away. I think the navel is fine--no signs of redness or infection, but does anyone have any ideas about a blister?
