just a cute story to share

I have a little doeling who is all personality and curiosity, but no fear. This is not your normal goat with these traits--she is the EXTREME of these traits. She escapes from anything to get to you or just for the fun of it. Yesterday my helper came to do some barn cleaning, came inside and asked me if I knew that my little was loose. I looked out my window and saw her standing on the window sill looking out at me just like a cat. She is a stitch!

Maybe she thought you were in the house so she was going to knock on the window! I love those moments when they make me smile. Great little critters aren't they.

Have a blessed day!

Talking cute to the max

You never run out of cute stories when you raise goats! I especially love the young ones and the ones like that little . The shame of it is that she developed a fish-tail teat and I won't ever breed her because of that. But at least she'll keep me entertained.

Hehehe!! That was PRECIOUS!
Last yr we had a little one who jumped on a big sheet of plastic I hadnt removed yet. The first time it startled her but after that she made repeated running leaps into it. Nobody else cared about the fun she was having. I swear if I brought the wheelbarrow out right now Lela would try to jump into it..and she is heavy with babies!
Right now I am feeding the 10mo olds outside the main pen. When I call for the "Little Girls" they all come a runnin. The other day I turned around and there was Lela chowing down with them...she had put her head down when I opened the gate to make herself look smaller and ran out with the rest of them, the goof!
