Talking Hey I Didn't Have Anything To Do With It!!

Two rednecks are out hunting, and as they are walking along they come upon a huge hole in the ground. They approached it and are amazed by the size of it.

The first hunter says "Wow, that's some hole, I can't even see the bottom, I wonder how deep it is?"

The second hunter says" I don't know, let's throw something down and listen and see how long it takes to hit bottom."

The first hunter says "There's this old transmission here, give me a hand and we'll throw it in and see".

So they pick it up and carry it over, and count one, and two and three, and throw it in the hole. They are standing there listening and looking over the edge and they hear a rustling in the brush behind them. As they turn around they see a goat come crashing through the brush, run up to the hole with no hesitation, and jump in headfirst.

While they are standing there looking at each other, looking in the hole, and trying to figure out what that was all about, an old farmer walks up.

"Say there", says the farmer, "you fellows didn't happen to see my goat around here anywhere, did you?"

The first hunter says " Funny you should ask, but we were just standing here a minute ago and a goat came running out of the bushes doin' about a hunert miles an hour and jumped headfirst into this hole here!"

And the old farmer said "Why that's impossible, I had him chained to a transmission.

This is a very old joke. Do you even have goats? Or are you here to just bother the real goat owners?

Well, sheesh. :baby04: I knew he doesn't have goats, and he has a history of stirring the pot here.

Pardon me for having a thought.

I'd much rather have a joke to make me smile than a smartalic comment that makes me wonder why some folks don't just keep comments to themselves. This world could use a little more joy!

Well obviously Rose didn't, as I just got a private, condescending message in my inbox for my comment. Whether Rockpile is a trouble maker or not is null to me in this context; it's obvious he meant no harm by this. I guess some people have to gripe about something.

Rose: I meant the last comment in general, no private messages please.

LOL... cute one RP!!!

Thanks for sharing!

Kaza

PS... part of what makes this joke SO funny is the fact that I have had many many goats... and all I could think was ...."JUUUUUUUUST when that poor guy thought he FIANALLY had his goat confined... some stoopid dude tosses the transmission down a hole!" LMAO!!!

Very funny! Thanks for sharing.

For those that decided to take shots at you instead of appreciating the humor...It's a shame that they actually believe rudeness was simply expressing their "thought."

Ok folks everyone who is snippy go outside and play. You have been cooped up way to long this winter and need to get rid of some extra energy.

Now the joke was funny and at times I have had animals that I would like to do this to. Today its a horse who kicked my daughter and now I get to go to the ER.

Play nice .
