Thumbs up Gretta Had Twins!!!!!

I'm uploading the pics right now...it will take a bit cuz I took so many.... YES! Twins a boy & girl and it was something else! WHEW what a day! I did it alllll by myself. Set in the corner and watched her all day. She had it all going on...digging, up & down, baaaaing softly, chewing cud, licking lips, head pushing on wall. Poor girl. Then some goo started at about 5pm...white stuff. Then about 6 ish GUSH! Then I could really tell she was pushing and the bubble came. She was crying so loud I felt so bad I helped the little guy out, tried to get as much goo off as I could and cleaned out his nose & mouth and started frantically drying him off. At the same time the little girl started coming out and that one came out fast! Both are dry, up and stumbling around, belly buttons diped, and Gretta is doing FANTASTIC! What a trooper! She looks sooo happy & proud and she should be! They were born at about 7:30. OH some of the pictures are done now...here they are

Wow, just checking to see how it went before I left for the airport. Glad it went so well for ya,all that worry for nothing! It is funny, the drama queens scream and yell, and some just lay there and push them out without a peep. I have to say my diary gals are the screamers and the boers are very stoic (at least in my herd!)

Pretty babies!!!

If that one's ear stays "folded," you can tape a popsicle stick on it with some VetWrap if the ears are going to stay erect or use a washer in the same manner if they will be pendulous.

Otherwise? Pretty babies!!!!

I think Gretta likes her babies!!!

I'm on baby watch for THREE does at the same time. And waiting for the uber cold to hit us the end of this week... Baby-sicles!!
