Wow what a belly. She's pretty. I have noticed that my two pregnant ladies are started to get a belly on them to.

I checked to see if you had updated 'her' thread last night, and now I see she is still holding on to them! How is her udder looking?

Trey, Her udder is really big! Now I know how big they can get....size of a large cantalope and very firm. She had a restless night last night. Every time I checked on her she was standing instead of laying down and sleeping. At one point she was banging her head against the wall. This morning she has no interest in alfalfa which is the first time for that. She dumped her grain out of the bowl. She is digging. She moved herself into the other stall that is next to hers and dug a hole in the corner in the dirt and layed down. This is all new behavior. Hubby is out of town but I do have a friend I can call. I just don't know because she is such a trickster!

Oh, by the way, mine right before they get down to business will lay with the rear leg on stop stretched out to the side, not how they normally lay with them tucked up.

Sounds like she isn't happy about get bred! Sure it sounds like fun to be a mommy, but when you are 5 months pregnant it starts to suck!!! Never heard of banging a head on a wall, but I guess she sounds very close! Now what are you going to do if she has bucklings! You will have to keep them for all the waiting you did!

She got up and just stands around. I was brushing her and she liked it for a bit and then walked away which is REALLY not like her at all...she is usually begging to be brushed. She got upset when BoBo (our dog...her buddy) came into her space so he has been confined to the house. I feel unusually calm for me. I'm surprised I'm not freaking out...I must have freaked all the freak out out of me

Hey Minelson! I finally figure out about ligaments.. But it will take me a while to click to my head anyways.. But Never sqeeze. Just follow where the tailbone is.. Then dont push too hard.. And U will notice the difference is the slopes! If the slopes away from the tailbone.. Becuz I checked the doe that is never bred. Hers feels like hard and not away from the tailbone it is more like attached.. Does it make sense ??

Yes that does make sense! I'll go try it but I think she might be beyond the ligament check now. I have set up camp in the barn...she is digging a hole to China! Gotta get back out....Thanks!
