They're bred to this *B Sand Dance HLL Laredo (Pedigree)

The posed pics were my attempts to make then look nice within 10 seconds, lol. I don't have a helper so I had to use the timed picture setting on my camera, hehe.

I'm really pleased with them. What do all you show people think of them? Constructive critisism would be nice, as I'm hoping to take them to shows this year.

I can't offer any constructive criticism because I don't have enough experience. However, to my inexperienced eye, they are gorgeous!

(Brrr-rrrr-rrr! It looks awfully COLD there in MI.)

I do not have any goats (yet!) but 17 years of showing dogs tells me that you have two structurally sound animals there. Both have level toplines and angulation front and rear. Good length of neck with feminine heads. They both appear to be steep in the pelvis though. It is hard to tell how much exactly as they both seem to be crouching slightly in the rear. If they were mine I would definately show them.

(PS Great job getting them posed and photographed without a helper!)

Yodeldogs,

the 'crouching' is desirable because it causes a downhill stature and levels out the topline. You get them to crouch such by poking around their spine on either side with two fingers, right in front of the hips. It's done to pose them. I do admit they look a little funny, especially the sundgau doe, because it was cold and instead of holding pose they would try to scrunch themselves back up, hehe.

Ahhhhhhh!!!! I was wondering why in so many posed photos the handler had a hand or fingertips on the animal's back. Thanks for this explanation. It makes sense.
