how much cold can a newborn kid take
Our first pgmy doe kidded late last night with twins, buck and a doe. We dried them off, dipped their navels, and got them sucking. They are out of the wind in a small shed with a heatlamp on them. All seems well with 4 degrees above for a low tonight. MY question is with the forecast next week for -teens below o, should i make plans for bringing them in the house at nite. If they should come in, exactly how long can they be away from the doe before feeding again?
