Yipee !!! What a find !

We just scored nice square bales of hay for $1.25 each !!! They are large too ! Long, and baled right, not too tight, not too loose and weigh about 60-70lbs each ! Normally we get 40-50 lbs for $2 each. They are a really nice green alfalfa/grass mix.

This is a limited supply though, thats the bad news :+( So we will have to keep looking, but for now we have hay, and at a good price too !

Wow, I need to start looking at other places I guess. I just spent almost $7.00 for one bale about 40lbs from the feed store.

My goodness that was a find, we just paid $5.00 per bail for stuff that the goats eat good but I would rather it was at a lower price like you found.

I'm excited about it - i just wish they had all we need. But i'm going to see what we can do to be put down for a years worth at that price for next year. Usually we pay $2 per bale for good grass mix about 40-50lb bales, but have payed $3 each from a different place, and there are other places in the area charging $5 a bale, so i'm feeling lucky :+)
