The tattoo letter for 2008 is ?

I know it's probably a stupid question...but for dairy goats, is the tattoo for 2008 going to be "Y"? I know there are a few letters which are skipped and I don't see the letter for 2008 on the ADGA website yet so I need to make sure before I tattoo my first '08 kids tomorrow.

I think it is Y. Becuz I had a book somewhere but cant find it!

For Canadians it is "U" see we all have to be different!!!

For ADGA it is Y.

Thanks so much for the help. I thought I should be using "Y" but I think I would rather have a root canal than tattoo goats so I sure didn't want to get it wrong!

i like to use the year they are born and not use a letter. much easier for me to remember. this year i will use 08. kids get a letter assigned as they are born. it will start with 08A and goes on to the end of the alphabet. this way i don't have to search what letter was used in 1999
