Why I love my goats...

Cuz they love me back! Picture taken late this afternoon here in far South Texas. Goats name, Miss Pearl. Old mans name, George.

That is so cute, but that is not fair. Green Grass??? Short sleeve shirt and not a huge winter jacket, gloves, hats and snow boots?

It was a balmy 88 degrees here yesterday, seems pretty odd for the second week of January. Grass is green thanks to irrigation, water right out of the Rio Grande. Not much for rain in several months.

Come on George, do tell, what kind of goats are they? They're very nice looking! I have Nubians (and others! LOL) and am always a sucker for those of the "floppy eared" persuasion.

Miss Pearl is a percentage boer, and is just a few months shy of her first birthday. Here is another picture of her, her momma Miss Priss and her brother Mr. Chevy.
