worming goats

H, I have a question on worming my goats. I bought the wormer in pill form, and I am not sure how to go about giving it to them. I bought it in this form because it is supposed to be really good wormer and it was cheaper than the liquid. I know I need to keep it out of their windpipe, and i have a bolus gun. Can anyone give me some advice, please. Thanks,Gina

Please provide more info. What type of wormer? Strength? What kind of goats? Size?

Tramisole Sheep Oblets? They aren't recommended for goats, the amount needed does a real number on their rumen...per Goat Medicine. Vicki

Ivermectin 1% injectable is used orally at 2cc per 100 pounds, some have to use 3cc. And yes once you get passed the first 30 to 50 days, or implantation period, it's safe to worm. Vicki

What parasites are you trying to take out and what were their numbers in the fecals?
