I tried to answer your questions in a PM, but it said your box is full. The most reasonable place to stay is the OZ Motel. If you can find a topper for your truck, that would be the best. Any animal crate has to accomodate 2 90-100 lb does. A canvas tarp would keep the wind chill out. You have my phone number. Give me a call either tonite or tomorrow before you head out. Kathie
