Unhappy So very sad

Went out to feed the goats their dinner and the good news is one of my little girls had 2 babies, one black one white both does. So I was real pleased.
Then as I was feeding I noticed Bucky, my only billy was not there.
So I went out to look, and I found him. WE have high tensile fencing, and somehow he got caught up in it, pulled about 50 feet loose, wound himself around a tree and hung himself.

He was only about 18 months old very healthy, a beautiful tri colored, and my only billy. We had sold our other billy because I wanted babies out of this boy because he was so friendly and such an unusual color. No more goaties for us. Had 4 babies this year all does. We will bury him tomorrow.

Fortunatley it doesnt look like he suffered. Looks like he broke his neck pretty quickly.

Unforunately he doesnt have any babies, either on the ground or due. We had used the other Billy for this years breedings because he was still only about 11 months when the does were ready to breed and we knew we were going to sell the other Billy so I wanted new bloodlines to start with this guy.

Oh my, how horrible! I am so sorry, I feel so bad for you.... You lost a buck, in a tragic way, and one you had hoped was the future of your herd. I'm sorry.
