Goat with runny, wheezy nose

I have had goats for two years now and have not had a sickness yet. I now have one with a runny, wheezy nose (my suspected cocci doe so it doesn't surprise me). I've never had to care for even these simple things because my goats have all been really healthy. I haven't taken temp. yet. She is eating, drinking, and playing. What do I do?

We give VetRX, nose drops, for snuffly noses. Often they get them the same way we do - when the weather gets cold. Keep an eye on her, but a couple days of clear, sniffly nose is usually nothing.

For a runny a runny nose with no other symptoms, I give vitamin C. My goats LOVE the fruit flavored chewables and they usually clear up the sniffles pretty well...Yep, I would definitely start with that first.

I am having the same trouble. i have a doe that the snot drips out of her nose. I am always wiping it for her. I thought I better listen to make sure she has no noise in her lungs, (she is also coughing) but they sounded really clear. I did the Vet Rx.

Thank you! Where do you get the VetRX? I will try the vitamin C first and see if that works.

Jeffers, PBS or any of the other big livestock supply places will have it. Your feed store may, too.
Be aware there are a few different formulations - not sure the differences, but one is marked for goats and sheep.
