Dreams....

The past two nights I have had the most frustrating dreams. I dream that I go to the goat barn and during the night everyone kidded(all forty head). No one stayed with their kids, I can't tell who's kids are who's. There goes my entire kid crop, no registration, no CAE prevention.......Its so stupid, but its really starting to annoy me!

I've had dreams like that! I wake up and panic before I realize it was a dream!

Are you taking allergy meds? That makes me have very strange dreams.

Now that's a bizarre dream, and it must come to an end.....My mom say's a cheese sandwich before bedtime will put all dreams to rest during the night....good luck. My problem is snoring, maybe a peanut butter and jelly will cure that...who knows.

hummm. Maybe it's your subconscious saying that either; 1. You are trying to control your life when you can just let go and let a state of confusion and disorder run. Or 2. that you don't have enough control over your life and need to be more aware of your surroundings and start micromanaging every aspect of your wonderings through this world....

okay, I totally pulled this out of my butt and really think your either spending too much time in the goat barn or not enough. lol.

I have had that happen. I do not do any CAE prevention but I do like to know whos kid is whos. Usually when they give no signs of impending labor. The next morning I have to go around looking at everyone bottom to figure out who kidded last. It is also a FF who does not really know what to do. Luckily only one goat at a time did this. Still not positive it was hers

(reaching back into Psychology 101) I can't remember what these dreams are called, but they are the brain's way of working through "worst case scenarios" and trying out different solutions.

Before a show, I dream my truck rolls over or breaks down. My breeding season bad dream involves a stray agouti Pygmy. My kidding nightmare is getting trapped away from home while my bottle kids starve.

I have nightmares about my first goat, Diva, kidding and being attacked by a grizzly bear. I usually have to put her down, and deal with the bear.

This may not sound very strange, but I now have nineteen does (so many others to worry over!) and we live in Arizona. (no grizzlies). Been here 30 of my 34 years. Was born on Kodiak Island, though!

Well, I hadn't been back online to read your suggestions, so I hadn't tried it. But since I LOVE toasted cheese on bread.....I'll be sure to give it a try.
