FAMACHA training??

I've been digging around on the website of the organization that offers training in the FAMACHA worm control system, but can't find a current list of workshops.

Anybody know when/where?

Ask your County Extension agent. It's often done through them

I just took the class in Athens, Georgia, about 1 1/2 months ago. I found it at this website, http://www.scsrpc.org/. I really enjoyed it and have incorporated it into my herd. Good luck to you!

My county extension office is next to useless. On the bad side of 'next to.'

We just had one here in Mt. View, MO about a month ago - heard about it over the radio station thru the extension office.

Yes, the southern MO extension offices are MUCH better than here in my neck of the woods in south central Texas.

Rose-- What parts of the year are you in Texas? And how far South?

We have asked our goat club to sponsor a clinic, but no luck so far. My husband and I are thinking of trying to set up a clinic on our own - getting the people out to our farm and letting others who are interested know. We're about 50 miles NW of Houston, though. ...not sure when/if we'll get it together, but if we do, we'll post here to let people know.
