Goat Treats

I have found a new goat treat that works great. It is made by Manna Pro that has just introduced a complete goat line with minerals, treats, colostrum and electrolyte products specific to goats. You can find them at www.flemingoutdoors.com

I can not imagine BUYING treats for my goats.

What will they think of next?

I feed my goats treats daily, from the garden

Much cheaper and basically the same thing is the Manna Pro horse treats. They come in a very big bag and last a long time. My goats LOVE them.........but haven't had them for a while, not with the price of feed prohibiting the buying of extras.

I buy holiday candy when it's on clearance. Those Conversation Hearts are excellent goat treats. Right now we are working through a bag of marshmellow pumpkins and bats. I just bought a bunch of outdated Altoids at BigLots. They love the Altoids.

I like treating with candy instead of cubes or crackers because the goats will then eat pills out of my hand. Much easier than the pilling gun.

Peanut butter crackers are good for that, too.

I have those new goat treats also. My Goats LOVE them, I don't give them to them everyday though. I also give them Grapes, stale muffins, bread, hamburg or hotdog buns, apples cut up, Romaine lettuce(they won't eat ice berg), popcorn, stale chips. Well they are just a little spoiled but they really don't get treats everyday!

My goats are in Missouri, and I'm in Texas. I'm having a terrible time at the grocery store *not* buying goat treats.
