Baby, the polled Boer, isn't building a bag...

Her last time out she started making a bag almost two months before her due date, but this time she hasn't even started and she's due in two weeks (Dec. 1)!

Is there something I should be doing that I'm not? I wouldn't be sweating it, but I already told my 3 year old grand daughter she could have the pick of the litter... and she doesn't need any more "let downs" this year (and won't if I can help it)!

Well I am no expert. My experience was 3 girls who were suppose to be pregnant bagged up and had no babies . My pygmy who was not suppose to be pregnant bagged up a few days before she had her baby.
One here I have read about people whose goats do not bag up until the day before they give birth, some the day they do give birth and I think a few have said they bag up right after.
Goats just like to keep you guessing.

Was she a FF last year?? Most FF will bag up way before their due date. She may kid early. My older does diddn't bag up till a few days before their due date. But my SF (second time) bagged up 1 month before due date. All does are different.

Feel her udder. Are the muscles tight or hard? If not then you should start to worry a little. Get to a dairy and buy some raw colostrum. Don't buy the powder stuff that belongs on a self and not in your kids. freeze it in 1/2 cup (4 oz.) jugs or bags. I would also save some milk. Cow or goat. and have that on hand.

Are you sure she's bred?
