need to pick your brains...

Ok guys and gals, I need to pick your brains...

first CL... is it trasmittable from a goat that has lived in a CL infected herd her whole life without ever having an abcess? If so how? She is in great health with no signs of having internal abcesses either... is there a blood test to verify? would it come out positive if she's been around it so much?

second Soremouth... once they've had they are immune, but do they carry it in their saliva or nasal discharge? Do they carry it on their bodies somehow?

Thanks Misty

how do you know she does not has internal abscess? you only can see if you butcher her, and even than only a trained eye might see if the abscess are only small.

there is a blood test but not accurate. therefore i would never buy from a herd that has abscess in the herd.

no, they are not shedders if that is what you mean.
