Ugh, two bucks and now two due dates.
I have a FF that was in obvious heat on Sept. 22, so I put her in with my 3 year old buck for 5 days and she was definitely bred the first day.
Yesterday I went out to feed/water and decided to "free" the 1 year old buck that's been locked in a stall, so I put him in the pasture with the 7 does already bred by my older buck and the 3 does that I want bred by this younger buck. This one year old buck immediately bred a doe a couple of times and she stood for it, but she's the one that was bred over a month ago and has shown no signs of coming back in heat. The doe was doing no tail wagging or anything, just stood there eating hay. Would a doe stand to be bred if she's not in heat?
At least the breedings are far eniough apart that I'll know which buck did the deed, but I hate not having a good due date.
