How much grain?

Wondering how much grain we need to feed pregnant Boer does? It's a 16% feed. Thanks in advance.

many feed their boers nothing but hay for most of their pregnancy. often supplementing with grain the last month of gestation and first month of lactation. I would go on the condition of the does. if they are boers they "should" all be easy keepers and should do fine on good quality hay and minerals. too much grain and the babies could be too big to birth easily. if I were you I would er on the side of less for sure. this is my first year with boers and I plan on feeding hay only unless condition warrants grain.
