Well yay!

My two alpines are bred for the year! Wooo!

Heidi, my 2 YO doe, was bred yesterday to "Alpine Valleys PVA Irving" who is a young yearling buckling. I can't find his pedigree on the genetics section of ADGA, but I watched her copy the reg. number off of the certificate! I know he's out of "Pearl Valley Golden Ace". He should do a nice number on her, as she isn't really show quality. I may try my hand at showing any daughters out of her, though.

Dance, my 5 YO doe, was bred today to "Pearl Valley Golden Ace" who will help her 'flat' udder out a bit. He's such a gorgeous buck. And monstrously huge; My girl is about 150 lbs and she about collapsed from his weight. His head comes up to my chin without stretching! eek! LOL I just need a doe out of that breeding... hope, hope hope! Anywho, here is the planned pedigree: Ace X Dance
