I know..I think she's very unusual!
I noticed that Dora(the black one) has a sloped rear end. I've heard people on here saying that's not great. What exactly is the problem with a more sloped rear end?
Also, someone told me the spotted ones legs are too slim and fine for a nubian...again, what exactly is the problem with that?
I paid $25 for the pair and they are being bred to a big, beefy, Nigerian Dwarf as we speak. The gal isn't charging a breeding fee because it's for my daughter's 4-H project.
We spent about $100 on startup costs (CAE test, alfalfa pellets, wormer, etc.) so not a bad investment so far. Trisha had triplets 2 years ago and Dora had twins. The buck we're using has thrown twins almost exclusively last year. So, I'm crosiing my fingers. I hope we get at least one with Trisha's coloring.
I'd love a gentle critique on them. I don't plan on selling registered kids or anything and they'll be simply fanily milkers.
Thanks!
