CAE ?'s

Does CAE transmit to horses? I got my test results back and two of my goats have it. I was kind of suspicious. My only hope is that there was a guy interested in one and one of the negative goats for brush control and companions for his horse. He's still entertaining the idea, but wants to make sure that CAE doesn't infect horses. I said I don't think so. Was I right?

Not to horses but there may be something to do with sheep but I am not well-versed enough on that to tell you for sure. Try google and the basic FAQ here for CAE.

CAE is transmitted only to goats and i think sheep ( not postive) But not to humans or other animals like horses, cows and etc..
