Goats in Seattle!!!

A woman who purchased MiniMancha goats from me and my friend spearheaded a drive that has resulted in legislation allowing urban goatkeeping in Seattle. Is that progressive or what??

Here's a link to the article in today's Seattle Times, and the brown and white goat, Brownie, is one of my kids from last year. Be sure to enlarge the two pictures!

Loved the story and that is great, but being given pet status is not necessarily a good thing. Look what is happening to the horse industry. They are now considered such a pet you can no longer slaughter them even after they have long since served their purpose.

Still a cool story and hope everything keeps going well.
