Another critique? ;)

Here is my grandpa's lamancha doe. She is away getting bred right now. Ignore my sad attemps at making her stand please. She is a yearling. Yes, she has small teats of torture. I think she should have had her babies taken off a few times early in her lactation to stretch her teats and udder out. We will do that next year.

She has grown some since these pictures were taken.

And how about this girl? She is my little toggenburg, she's a yearling. Not yet bred (actually was bred but aborted, kinda long story).

Her rump isn't really as steep as it looks there.

Y'all are going to have to stop me, I'm loving all these critique threads.

Love the Togg! Sorry no critique, I am too new and have not shown mine. What age do you breed at? I bet the first one is hard to milk!

I'm NOT an expert by any means!

But I'll take a stab at it, in the hopes of stimulating conversation and learning from my errors.

On the lamancha- my first impression is that she doesnt have too bad a eustucheon, but the arch could be wider. What jumps out at me is the way the udder connects in- too low? I think that means she's prone to drop her udder early. Its really hard for me to tell the front connections from the pics, in one it seems she has a nice front but in the tail shot I cant see it so is it far forward enough, or just the picture angle that the leg obscures it?

Can anybody else take it from here?
