Think they remember us?

I've been out of town for a few days and my hubby has been taking care of the goats. I got in late last night so this morning was my first time back on goat duty. I swear my little 4 month old Lamancha girl was happy to see me. More so than normal mornings. She hopped up on her picnic table and rubbed her little face all over me. She was like a little velcro goat and oh so bouncy. After extensive lovin she boinged her self all over the place. The boys were looking at her like "where in the world did you come from?"

Of course they remember you! Goats are pretty darned smart and very social.

A couple of years ago, I took my Alpine doeling, Sara, to the Renaissance Faire. When I was performing, I left her with a friend at his booth. Didn't take her long to figure out that I was wearing bells, and she'd call for me when she heard them. When she went back a week later, she definitely remembered people who had made a fuss of her, and she'd go bouncing over to see them (dragging me behind her with the leash).
