My Goats

I finally found my batteries for my camera today and decided to let the does out to forage in my backyard. I though some of these does were bred ( kept 4 of them in with a buck for 2 months ) and what do they do to me? They all go into heat within a day of each other!!! January kids anyone? I'm so angry and disappointed, but if it wasn't meant to be I can't do a thing about it! Anyways ENJOY!!

Beautiful goats! I love the pictures, especially the one of Matilda looking at the camera with the fern (?) in her mouth. That pic is a keeper.

Oh, when I see pictures like these, I wish I had done the Nigerian Dwarfs, especially with blue eyes. I've got these big ole Boers butts.

My biggest girl is 150. The others are around 135. They seem heavier when they stand on your foot though.

We had a Boer show at our nearish county fair this year... no idea about weight, but geezum crow, I swear one of those boys could have squashed a pony. Just wanted to be petted, of course. I was looking from him to the percentage does penned near and wondering how they ever got any kids from him... mind boggling.

I love Nigies to bits, and all your girls are so sweet looking... but Matilda with her splotches has me grinning like an idiot. Such a pretty girl!
