question about cheese cloth

I was wondering where a person can buy cheese cloth and if you can re-use it after straining one batch of cheese?

thanks Misty

Wally world used to sell big packages real cheap. It can be washed and reused.

Cheese cloth for making cheese is not the same a the cheese cloth sold in most stores, which has too open of a weave. I use a loose woven, unbleached cotton. The weave is like a sheer curtain not burlap.

For yogurt use an old bed sheet or similar weave.

The cloth can be machine or hand washed with bleach added. I air dry but drying in a machine should be fine.

I use 100% cotton pillow cases, after use I turn them inside out and soak, then wash. I have reused them for cheese for about 5 years. Unbleached butter muslin works wonderful also and it's sold at Walmart also. vicki
