how do you weigh goats? (or sheep, or...)

I haven't seen anything explaining HOW to weigh the goats (aka - what equipment do you use) just everything saying to use weight-specific doses for food, supplements, meds, etc.

How do you weigh yours? What's the easiest, least expensive way to get the job down with a reasonable range of accuracy?

thanks!
Cathy

Tape measure around the heart girth and a corresponding weight chart like the one below. I've used this and then weighed a goat and it was pretty close, within a couple pounds.

how do you measure goats that are not dairy without a scale?.... all the charts i've seen are for dairy goats only.
