bred in May?

I bought a doe in June who may have been bred. She was running with a buck for three weeks the last week in April till the first part of May.

I've been assuming she was bred and have been checking her udder, etc. She won't let me feel her so I don't know anything. I was wondering, though......should I assume she got bred at that time of year? She is a purebred Nubian. I know it's possible with that breed. But just because she was with a buck does that mean it should have happened off season like that? What are my odds?

Well I had a hard to breed doe that i ended up penning with a buck in March, she delivered her little buckling right in time in August. So i would say your odds are pretty good!

Thanks!

We had a nubian who was bred in March, too. She kidded the last weekend in July. But May is even later in the year...so I wasn't sure.....
