Opinions on Mimosa vs Alfalfa

I haveacres and acres of mimosa vine and have quit feeding alfalfa. Milk production has not decreased. Here is a table, alfalfa is number 261 and mimosa is 267, the calcium content is main issue...also, I did numerous searches and can't find info on bailing it...anyone know anything about that? Does it become toxic at any point?

I'm not familiar with this in my part of Texas. We have heavy clay alkaline soil here.

Well, I found out it is Partidge Pea (whim on DGI told me that). It is a cut and carry forage in Central and South America and other places as well.

We have 90 acres of the stuff. I have stopped feeding alfalfa to the milkers and production has not dropped, watching closely. yes, the overabundant rains have really made the place green. This is the edge of the desert southwest....we have been in drought for several years. Now flooding rains, we have had no rain for 4 days now.
