Any chance the breeder can give/sell you one of the nipples he is used to? I like to send along a grey Lambar nipple when I sell an unweaned kid. It makes for easier transition and most of the nipples go right on a pop bottle with ease.
If he gets hungry enough he should take a different nipple, but it is eaiser all around if he can be transitioned with a similar nipple.

Some are no problem to switch over to other nipples. some are picky. I usually send along a spare nipple just in case.
