Question problem with pygmy udder

after our pygmy doe weaned her kid, we let her dry off, but something went wrong, on one side of her udder the teat is completly returned to the size it was before she kided, but the other side is noticably empty but still long and she is so lopsided that unless you are up close it looks like she only has one teat, has anyone ever seen this?does anyone have a remidy, last year she won second place in the show, but i cant take her back this season if i cant fix this, what did i do wrong?

Have you looked at the milk? Is it possible that she or her kid is still nursing one side?

The side could be mastitic, but then I don't know why it would get so large. See if you can express it at all. If it looks like normal milk, allow her to bag up again, and watch to see if her or her 'weaned' kids nurse any more. A good way to guarantee this is to put some self-clinging vet tape on that teat, or put some band-aids on that side to discourage whoever is nursing.
