The time has come - clipping the herd!
With temps forecast for the 90's this coming week, it's time to take the winter hair off the herd. It's an itchy job, but I do love how they all look after they've been clipped - you can really see the goat under the hair, especially on the bucks.  I've waited longer this spring than usual because the temps have bounced around so much, but I don't think I can put it off any longer.
It ought to be interesting to do some of the newer goats, who are WILD! I'm thinking this may set back the taming process a bit.  Maybe frequent bites of apple and carrot during the clip will help...
