Replacer

The directions should read: Place in trash LOL.

Seriously, it's not good for them. BUT, if you absolutely need to use it, its about 4 parts water to 1 part mix.Doesnt matter the kind of goat you are feeding. But if possible, try and mix it with milk-half and half.
They do so much better on regular Vit D milk from the store, I always put in a can of evaporated milk and a good 'sploosh' of buttermilk and my kids thrived on it. And its not chunky and doesnt separate and smells a lot better and you can make up a days worth (or more) at one time in a regular pitcher and keep in the fridge.

LOL, I had about 25# of milk replacer left after feeding it to some orphan kids for a while. They ended up on whole milk after a long series of hassle, aggravation and diarrhea spells. I dumped it on 10 rosebushes this winter and I have never seen such blooms! Hundreds and hundreds! So don't place it in the trash, please, your garden will love you for it (and no diarrhea.)

PLEEEEAAAASE, do yourself a favor. Take yourself down to the local grocer and pick up a gallon of whole cows milk. Then throw out the replacer. We have had countless threads started by people with health problems in new kids because they were feeding replacer. Sometimes, once they're switched to cow's milk, the kids pull through. Sometimes they don't. The person who said it should read, "Place in trash" wasn't kidding. Really.

Its not that she won't eat it.....its that it is notorious for causing bloat and scours.....which are two things that easily kill kids if the owners aren't used to having goats. The whole milk is a wonderful idea!
