Raw eggs can give kids samonella, it's also nothing normal to feed to a goat, so please rethink advice like that. It's likely as simple as a change in his milk. Just keep giving him what you are...upping it slowly to the whole 16 ounces bottle full 3 times a day. You can offer him water in a bucket, make sure it is a small bucket that can eaisly tip over, if he will eat hay and grain fine, but his milk is soo important for his growth right now. Don't even think about weaning him for 3 or 4 months, the more milk, then weaned to alfalfa for more calcium the better. For bucks using meat goat pellets that contain alfalfa meal, ammonium chloride for stones, and decoquinate for cocci are soo convienent.
He needs to be disbudded right now, well really last week. And you also need to start reading the forum on worming and cocci prevention....using prevention will keep you from every having to deal with disease. Vicki
