Mom trying to reject baby..........

Has anybody had any luck locking mom and baby up together to force bonding?

Mitzi had a nice big doe this afternoon but won't have a thing to do with her. I wrangled her (Oh my aching back) when Miss Baby was about two hours old and she got to nurse a good bit. Mitzi doesn't act like she gives a flip about her. DH and I have them put up in a 6x6 stall and Miss Baby is getting to nurse occasionally.

Any ideas?

I have had that happen with a couple of my does. It usually takes a day or two of being confined together, but momma usually comes around.

Thanks....good to know...but then it wouldn't have been the first time a baby went to the office with me.
