New Girls (Pics)

It was a pretty busy week here. On Friday I had a quick visit from the stork. Okay, she's not a goat, but since they're minis, the babies aren't much bigger than goat babies so I figured I'd post her here anyway. Mamma was so quick with this one I barely got there as Dolly (Silver Dollar) came sliding all the way out. Here she is today at not quite a full 2 days old:

And then on Saturday I went back down to Carisa's (Lyceum) and brought her a late summer filly from last year in trade for my newest addition to the dairy goat barn Alex. Alex is just 2 weeks fresh (right Carisa? I'm thinking I have the math right here, or is it three weeks?) anyway, it's either 2 or 3 weeks fresh and milking just 1 cup shy of a gallon a day. I'm so happy with her, and she has such a sweet, loving personality. Here she is today after everyone has settled in and decided who's who in the pecking order:

Thanks for letting me share.
